Designed by Edward Suzuki, one of the best
architects in Japan, the luxurious (and obviously quite expensive)
Mpata Safari Club is located outside the Masai Mara National
Reserve, above the Soit Ololol Escarpment, some 25 km north
of the reserve limits.
The 23 individual cottages (11 suites and
12 deluxe unites) are well spaced along the top of the escarpment
and offer breathtaking panoramic views of the grasslands.
All cottages are complete with separate bedroom, bathroom
and veranda, while suites a lounge, kitchenette and outdoor
jacuzzi.
Mpata Safari Club offers two daily game drives:
the morning one, starting at 6am, before sunrise, and evening
one, from 3pm to 6pm. It also offers a walking safari, guided
by a ranger, and balloon safaris.
The Mpata restaurant serves deluxe French
cuisine.
