Located in the north eastern Lobo area, Serengeti
Migration Camp is a 20-tent camp sitting on a large ridge
above the Grumeti River, right along the path of the migratory
herds, some 40 kilometres south of the Kenyan border and the
Masai
Mara National Reserve. It's one of the only three lodges
on the northern Serengeti area (the other are Lobo Wildlife
Lodge and Klein's Camp).
The 20 luxurious suites are quite large (45
sq. meters) and stand on wooden platforms, well spaced from
each other to guarantee privacy. They feature wooden floors,
nice furnishings, and a wooden balcony. There is a very comfortable
bar, a gift shop, and a swimming pool.
Dinners at Serengeti Migration Camp are somewhat
of a legend, with all guests sharing the same long table together
with camp managers, Peter and Anita (who are eager to amuse
their guests with some incredible safari stories).
Activities include game drives, nature
walks, and bush dinners.
